Owner. Lead Designer
Riley Gregor is a Louisville-based muralist and founder of StraightEdge Creative, a public and commercial art company specializing in large-scale murals, branding, and artistic event curation. A graduate of the University of Louisville’s Hite Art Institute (BFA ’22), Gregor’s work blends street art roots with refined visual storytelling—bringing vibrant color, identity, and emotion to city walls, businesses, and public spaces across the country.
Gregor’s journey into the arts began with a background in street art and graffiti, a subculture he once felt might not be welcomed in academic spaces. However, he found mentorship and support at UofL, where his bold approach redefined gallery norms. For his senior project, Gregor became the first student in the school’s history to paint directly on the gallery’s movable display walls—transforming them into an immersive cityscape that mirrored the urban canvas where his artistry began.
While at UofL, Gregor discovered a passion for making public art not just accessible, but sustainable as a business. Inspired by large-scale street art and community engagement, he transitioned his creative energy into an entrepreneurial path. Straightedge Creative now serves clients across Kentucky, Indiana, and beyond, including restaurants, museums, aquatic centers, and Universities.
Gregor’s success is rooted not only in his artistic talent but also in his resilience. After overcoming addiction and celebrating over seven years in recovery, he uses his personal story and public artwork to champion messages of hope, redemption, and persistence. His murals—including those on the walls of The Healing Place, the very recovery center that helped him rebuild—bear messages like “Where Hope is Found & Change Happens,” serving as both art and affirmation.
Now a recognized creative force in the region, Gregor continues to transform walls and lives—pushing past convention, embracing collaboration, and turning every blank surface into a bold statement: “I am here.”
